Highlander Hybrid Among Top Family Vehicles
Everybody around here at Palmer’s Toyota knows full well that the 2016 Toyota Highlander and Highlander Hybrid are among the top family automobiles in the industry right now for a number of reasons, not the least of which are efficiency, reliability, technology, and spaciousness, all of which come in droves when it comes to a new Highlander.
The Hybrid version of that vehicle specifically was named recently as a segment winner in the 2016 U.S. News “Best Cars for Families” honors, which makes a ton of sense considering just how strong a family vehicle it really is.
For starters, it’s among the most fuel-efficient three-row SUVs currently for sale, which very often is of concern for certain buyers, but that strong efficiency isn’t all it’s good for as a family vehicle. It’s also incredibly spacious, with loads of leg room for passengers in both the front and the rear of the vehicle, and it also features a really slick infotainment system often lauded for being extremely easy to use and control on an everyday basis. Also noteworthy (though this has nothing to do with being a great family car) is that the Highlander is pretty attractive, so much so that it would be easy to envision our customers speed-dialing Toyota Financial immediately following a test drive just to make sure the financing deals were air-tight before getting too worked up about bringing home a Highlander Hybrid.
High-quality materials inside the model help with its comfort, which also is something U.S. News looks for when vetting their nominees, but generally speaking it’s the entire package that has earned a spot on the aforementioned U.S. News list. The Highlander Hybrid is a great car for families, and we’re incredibly thrilled to see U.S. News recognize that fact.
